November 8th, 2008Naturally, just as I finish Dead Space and come home with Fallout 3 and Gears 2, my 360 stops working. No red ring of death, but it freezes continuously after a few minutes (whether a disc or hard drive is attached). Hopefully Microsoft will repair the damn thing, but I can’t say it endears me to the company that I’m going to be out of gaming commission for 3 weeks or so.

I had that. it’s a prelude to the red ring. make sure the ms support people know it already has.
if it makes you feel better, I finished R2 and then my ps3 just died. 2 weeks out of warranty.

Have you called Sony? Sometimes if you ask nicely and it’s close support reps will help you out.
