    As much as I appreciate your words, I wish you guys discussed topics that aren’t so blatantly obvious and beaten-to-death by numerous gaming journalists.

    …I’m sorry, I meant gaming “journalists.” ;)

    PS: no i don’t have any suggestions, but think of something not oft discussed….

    Thanks laesp.

    I thought it was an appropriate topic since everyone seems to be automatically assuming that this will be a great year for the PS3, mostly because of its games. I wanted to examine this and see if it was actually true.

    Unfortunately, the comments from it basically boiled down to a console war thread… but I guess that was to be expected.

    @ jeff.

    That was an exceletn article. one this I generally dislike about gaming jounralism is that once someone says anything, everyone else tends to follow suit withpout thought. And the “Year of ps3″ thing was one of them. Not that I don’t think 08 won’t be better. MGS4 alone secures that, but there are still many titles on other systems I want more than anything on the ps3 this year.

    So i guess what i’m saying is, good job on the independant thought. It’s rare, but refreshing when you see it.
