Gamepad Bleg
June 30th, 2007Can anyone recommend a good, not-too-expensive PC gamepad for games like Psychonauts? It doesn’t need to be the best out there, but I’d like a good balance of cost and functionality.

You’ll have to manually set it up, but you apparently already have what’s considered the best PC pad out there, you just need an adapter to use it:

I’ve actually been considering picking one of these up myself.

My understanding is that the 360 pad only works with GFW games, and that mapping of controls is completely unsupported regardless. So I’m a little leery of using it…

I don’t think so… I’ve seen a lot of places suggest getting that adapter, or a wired 360 controller as a PC controller. I’d have to look into it a bit more though.
