What the?
Major improvement here, I thought the bookmark had taken me to the wrong site (it has a habit of doing strange things). I like it so far, if I had to give feedback for anything I would say it’s seems a bit too dark on the sides, kind of making the main part feel a little confined. The use of the dark blue colour to demonstrate how many posts are in the listed categories against a dark blue background is making it hard to see.
Other than that its looking great.

Ooh. Looks nice.

Yeah, the numbers in parenthesis in the right column are kind of hard to read, but otherwise it looks very solid. Also, the Logo on the top, seems very “tri-force” like, and with an obvious picture of link and the name of the site, some people might confuse this for a Nintendo fansite and therefore skip it.

Yeah, still working on the color scheme a bit.
As for the logo, we used something “tri-force” like because of the name of our site. We were hoping to have all the major platforms represented in it with the pictures of Kratos and Master Chief in them as well, but I can see how it might look like Link is dominating the frame. I’ll speak to our graphic artist to see if there’s something else we can do to make it look a bit more even for everyone.

Am I the only one who’s having trouble viewing the banner alignment correctly in IE?

Yeah, the white parenthesis looks great. Also, I couldn’t tell that was Master Chief.
Also, I’m using current Firefox and the banner seems to go to far to the right by the “E” in future. But it could be me. Pretty insignificant though.
Overall, it’s really looking nice.

I think the banner may be 8 pixels longer than the main frame since our graphic artist just created it like that. I’m still playing around with it a bit though, as, while it’s working well in FireFox, it actually looks a little better in IE right now.
I’m just hoping I don’t break something. I’m having trouble setting up a test site for this. Being a trained programmer (although unfortunately not really web programming), this is extremely troubling.
Amazingly enough, this theme and banner were barely tested before just putting it up on the main site because of the trouble I was having with testing it. I’m just glad it worked as well as it did, as this is, unfortunately, the most solid “testbed” we have.
